A few words about us...

Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as recognized by the IRS.  Our Tax Identification Number is #26-1967682, and our group was formed in 2008 by Kimberly DeWoody and Nola Williams. As of June 3, 2023, the organization is ran by Kimberly DeWoody and Amy Mueller as Nola Williams is retiring after 15 years with the organization. We are made up exclusively of volunteers.

A few words about rabbits...

Rabbits are the third most popular pet - this is the good news!  The bad news is that rabbits are also the third most surrendered pet.  Dogs and cats are the most popular animals in both popularity and in being surrendered.  Rabbits become homeless for a variety of reasons. 

It is our mission to rescue as many of these rabbits as possible, to provide veterinary care to them, including spaying and neutering as appropriate, to care for them and to socialize them while they are in our care, and to ultimately findthem a permanent home.
