******DUE TO THE SHELTER IN PLACE ORDERS, WE ARE DOING APPOINTMENT ONLY RABBIT ADOPTIONS AT THIS TIME WITH A REVIEWED ADOPTION APPLICATION IN ADVANCE OF THE APPOINTMENT. ONCE THE SHELTER IN PLACE ORDERS HAVE BEEN LIFTED, WE WILL RESUME REGULAR RABBIT ADOPTION EVENTS.*** The rabbits listed on this page (photos below) are available for adoption as of March 26, 2023. The adoption fee for our rabbits is $120.00 for a single rabbit or $190.00 for a bonded pair. All of our rabbits are vet checked, spayed or neutered, and have received their RHDV2 vaccine before being available for adoption and going to their new permanent home. We adopt to indoor homes only. Prior to scheduling an adoption appointment, we must receive a completed Adoption Application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to schedule an adoption appointment. An Adoption Agreement will also be required as part of the adoption process. Our prior standard weekly walk-in adoption events previously held on Saturday's from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. have been replaced with appointments for adoptions as outlined above; however, some of our rabbits are back in Petco at this time. Petco is located at 1917 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville, CA. We halt adoptions prior to Easter and Christmas. Rabbits do not make cute gifts. Owning a rabbit is a serious commitment of time, care, love, and money. Once you have researched or discussed the care requirements for a house rabbit, our volunteers will screen you and have you complete paperwork necessary for the adoption. The Adoption Application may be returned to us in advance by scanning and e-mailing it to: host_rabbitrescue@yahoo.com. Adopting an animal is a serious commitment.
